MINUTES REGULAR MEETING
MADDEN ROOM TOWN HALL December 2, 2014

CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. and appointed Katherine Foley to sit for Peter Jennings.

Paul O’Sullivan and David Holmes of the East Hartford Historic District Commission
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS
A motion to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 5, 2014 was made by Louise Evans and approved by consensus.
NEW BUSINESS
- A joint discussion between State Historic Preservation Office, East Hartford and South Windsor Historic District Commissions focused on a possible joint historic district on Long Hill Road, which spans the Town boundary at Burnham Street. The procedures and processes were discussed. Both commissions showed interest and agreed to follow up with their individual town districts and follow up with an additional joint meeting.
- Motion by Commissioner Pitcock, seconded by Commissioner Jeski to elect Virginia Macro as Chairperson and Walter FitzPatrick as Vice Chairperson/Secretary. Motion by Commissioner Pitcock, seconded by Commissioner Jeski to close nominations, motion passed unanimously. Motion to elect the slate as nominated passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
1. The Historic Resources Inventory 111b is still in the process of resolving duplicates and omissions.

A motion to adjourn was made at 8:50 pm by Commissioner FitzPatrick, seconded by Commissioner Evans and approved unanimously.
